While on tour in early August, my old-time string band The Dust Busters made our first radio appearance. Here we are on Mike Kelsey’s program on WFHB 98.1FM, community radio in Bloomington, IN. We play live, talk with Mike and promote the show we played in Bloomington that night. It was a great tour! Met a lot of really great people (many thanks to all those that put us up, fed us and helped us out along the way), played a lot of music and got quality time in the car!

the myspace says you guys have a record that was tentatively set for a july release. is it available? i’d really like to get my hands on a copy.
i have the album you put up from your old band Jug Free America and listen to it quite a bit.

for the record, i can’t listen to the mp3 you just posted right now, so maybe i’m jumping the gun and you mention it on the show.

The album is currently only for sale from us at live shows. Hopefully it will be available soon in some digital download thing or via mail. Sorry bout that, gotta get it together! The show is playing on my machine here… Is anyone else having problems?

Nice arrangements of those old tunes. I’d like to get a copy of the disc (or download), too, but I’m not planning on being in NYC anytime soon. You guys should try to get booked at Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs (www.caffelena.org). It was recently named the best small folk venue in North America, and it’s near where I live! Keep up the good work, whereever you’re doing it.

How’reyerall doin’? I tuned into Colonel Kelsey’s program the udder day, and it were jest about the finest dam program I ever done listened to. Done no where you found him, but dam if he isn’t an old reprobate fer sure. Bein a reprobate myself, though not an old un, I appreciate that in a man who no’s his music.

Caught your video of your performance on the Woodsongs show. I swear I thought I was listening to Burnett and Rutherford, or Charlie Poole. You guys have got the jazz. Keep it up. Don’t let that wonderful music die.
